Ranking Digital Rights (RDR), a nonprofit human rights and corporate accountability project based at New America’s Open Technology Institute, seeks a fulltime Policy and Communications Analyst responsible for policy analysis, public promotion, and stakeholder engagement to maximize the policy impact and stakeholder adoption of RDR’s Corporate Accountability Index. The position will be based at Budapest, Hungary at the offices of RDR’s partner organization, the Center for Media, Data and Society at the School of Public Policy of Central European University.

Representatives of the press councils from Southeast Europe and Turkey gathered in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 9-10, 2016 to explore the legal and ethical complexities of journalism and public-interest reporting in the digital age. The two-day training seminar was hosted by the Press Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the UNESCO EU-funded Project “Building Trust in Media in South East Europe and Turkey”.
