New Resource Site on Public Media Research Launched

February 24, 2020

The Public Media Alliance (PMA), in collaboration with the International Association of Public Media Researchers (IAPMR) and the Center for Media, Data and Society (CMDS), has launched a new site for (mostly open access) academic and applied research on public service media.

The new website features a broad selection of recommended journals, reports, websites and guides related to the core values of public service media. Topics include best practices, country reports and the mounting challenges faced by public service media worldwide such as media capture, diminishing budgets and media convergence.

Public Media Alliance (PMA) is a membership association of more than 100 TV and radio broadcasting organizations with a public service remit, stretching across 50+ countries. The International Association of Public Media Researchers (IAPMR) is an association for scholars and industry experts who support Public Media worldwide. It is in the last parts of the process of attaining its legal association status.
