Two Research Internships Opened at CMDS

April 15, 2019

The Center for Media, Data and Society (CMDS) is looking for two enthusiastic and committed students to help with our center’s research and funding strategies. We seek students who are interested in topics related to funding media and journalism and in how philanthropy funding works.

One of the interns, on behalf of the center, will engage with donor organizations worldwide, arrange and carry out interviews that will be published in the Media Influence Matrix Interview Series. Please check this link for a better understanding of our project.

Another intern will collaborate with CMDS in developing a Donor-Funded Media Impact Model. The intern will work with CMDS on collecting information and data about media outlets funded mostly by philanthropies that will be used to analyze the performance and impact of these donors in various areas, including market, policy and audience awareness.

Unfortunately, at this point, we are not able to provide funds for these positions.

Those interested in gaining funding and research experience are welcome to send us a resume at For any other inquiries, please, use the same email address.
