At CMDS, Victor Khroul will continue pursuing his ongoing research. His current research project focuses on humor as a factor of conflict in media discourse on religion. Studying humor-related conflict such as the Danish cartoon scandal or a recent Belorussian cartoon mocking Catholics, he aims to map the limitations of humor for different religions.
