Publication: "Online Personal Data Processing and EU Data Protection Reform," lead-authored by CMCS Research Director Public Policy

Kristina Irion, Research Director Public Policy at the CMCS, has authored a report with Giacomo Luchetta about "Online Personal Data Processing and EU Data Protection Reform". The report was published and presented at a launch event earlier this month by the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels, and can be downloaded from the CEPS website.

Amy Brouillette, Research Fellow at CMCS, recently returned from working on a project on Iranian Internet Censorship with CMCS sister institution, the Center for Global Communication Studies (CGCS) at the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. CEU Alumni Publication: The western perspective in Yahoo! News and Google News

The International Communications Gazette published, in its latest issue, a paper by former CEU student Kohei Watanabe called The western perspective in Yahoo! News and Google News: Quantitative analysis of geographic coverage of online news. The article is based on the author's research at the Political Science Department of CEU in 2011 under the supervision by CMCS Director Kate Coyer and CMCS Fellow Stefania Milan.
