Eszter Hargittai Elected External Member of Hungarian Academy of Sciences

CMDS is happy to share the news that our Fellow Eszter Hargittai has been elected an External Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
She is now a member of the Section of Economics and Law, which includes sociology, demography and political sciences.
Her profile in the Academy’s publication introducing the new members states that she studies the social impact of internet use. It points out that her works have been cited 31,125 times (Google Scholar).
