John Masuku on International World Radio Day in Zimbabwe’s The Standard

On the International World Radio Day, CMDS Fellow John Masuku writes about the past and presence of radio in Zimbabwe for the country’s popular Sunday newspaper the Standard.
The theme of World Radio Day in 2022 is “Radio and Trust.” Talking to several retired and current broadcasters of Zimbabwean radio stations, the article explores how the connection has changed.
“As Zimbabwe celebrates World Radio Day … broadcasters should now strive to increase diversity, inclusivity and more believability… in order to create broadly trusted choices for radio listeners,” the article concludes.
