Fanucci Joins OSCE Expert Working Group on the Impact of AI on Freedom of Expression
CMDS Fellow Francesca Fanucci has been invited to join an expert working group on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on freedom of expression, organized by the Office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media Teresa Ribeiro at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Fanucci's expertise in the field of AI and free speech will contribute to the Office’s aim to put a spotlight on AI and freedom of expression and to develop policy guidance for OSCE participating states and other stakeholders.
The expert meeting will take place in the framework of the Office’s project on the impact of AI on freedom of expression (SAIFE) and will be organized together with Access Now. The meeting will be chaired by independent expert Martin Scheinin.
