Ranking Digital Rights project wins funding at Knight News Challenge!

The Ranking Digital Rights project has been announced as one of 19 winners at the 2014 John S. and James L. Knight Foundation’s Knight News Challenge. The project, led by Rebecca MacKinnon, senior research fellow at the New America Foundation, aims to develop a methodology to rank ICT companies based on their respect for free expression and privacy.
CMCS is one of the institutional partners to the project and contributes to its overall development as well as through leading case studies on European mobile phone providers and social media platforms.
